Unlocking Potential Through Comprehensive Evaluation
Our evaluations take a deep dive into multiple domains of functioning, including intellectual, academic, executive functioning, attention, and mood/personality. This holistic approach allows us to identify both strengths and areas for growth, providing a full picture of your child’s needs.
Our goal is to uncover the root causes behind thinking, learning, emotional, social-emotional, and behavioral patterns. We address not only the questions you have but also those you may not have realized to ask. By leaving no stone unturned, we deliver the definitive answers you’re seeking—along with a personalized, actionable roadmap to help you thrive.
Expert diagnostics
All testing is conducted by a doctoral-level psychologist specializing in neuropsychological or psychoeducational assessments, utilizing gold-standard, evidence-based methods.
Many clients seek our services because they have:
Been misdiagnosed in prior evaluations.
Received unclear or incomplete results.
Lacked a treatment plan tailored to their needs.
Struggled to secure appropriate school accommodations
Our comprehensive, science-backed evaluations provide accurate diagnoses and actionable recommendations to address these gaps, empowering clients with clarity and confidence.
For those seeking high-quality, evidence-based testing at a reduced cost, we also offer assessments conducted by master-level clinicians or doctoral candidates under the supervision of a doctoral-level psychologist, ensuring the same commitment to excellence.
Empathetic Care from Clinicians Who Truly Understand
As a team of clinicians who are also women and moms, we know firsthand how challenging it can be to navigate school systems and mental health care while advocating for your child. We understand the frustration, overwhelm, and uncertainty you may feel. That’s why we provide the same level of care we would expect for our own children or family members.
You or your child are so much more than a label. Our evaluations go beyond diagnosis, offering a comprehensive treatment plan with practical resources and tools to help you not just succeed, but truly thrive.
Neurodiversity-affirming assessments
At Hope+Wellness, we are committed to neurodiversity-affirming assessments that celebrate each client’s unique strengths. Our approach focuses on creating a positive, supportive experience from intake through feedback, shifting the lens from identifying “deficits” to embracing differences.
We begin by listening to your concerns and highlighting the positive aspects of your unique challenges. Many clients come to us feeling anxious after prior assessments that emphasized deficits. We focus on fostering understanding, resilience, and optimism—helping families embrace the diverse ways our brains are built and empowering them with strengths-based insights.
Collaborative and customized for your needs
Our testing approach is designed to be collaborative and empowering, using the testing process as a tool to better understand your lived experience. We ensure that each client feels comfortable and engaged, so testing becomes a positive, affirming process. This allows us to gain a well-rounded view of how you learn, process, and experience the world, leading to more meaningful and actionable insights.
Empowering, actionable feedback and support
Feedback sessions are highly tailored and delivered in positive, strengths based language, giving families and children a clear and affirming understanding of their results. We provide thorough explanations, answer questions with compassion, and guide you on next steps, whether it’s navigating school support or understanding a diagnosis like ADHD, autism, or anxiety. Our goal is to empower you with actionable insights and support, focusing equally on strengths and challenges.
Strengths-based, reader-friendly reports
Hope+Wellness reports are organized, thorough, and easy to understand, capturing a complete picture of each individual’s strengths and needs. Our reports provide useful recommendations, resources, and are delivered with timeliness and care, allowing families to quickly access and utilize insights.

We are passionate about providing assessment services to help our clients reach their highest potential in life, school, work, and relationships. Using cutting-edge, science-based tools, we create a personalized roadmap to help you think and feel your best. Our comprehensive approach will leave no stone unturned to help uncover the “why” behind how you learn, think, and act—identifying your unique strengths and opportunities for growth. Our evaluations provide actionable strategies to address immediate challenges, build on your strengths, and set the foundation for long-term success.
Honest, Efficient, and Accurate
Unlike many practices in the region, we do not charge a flat fee for evaluations. Instead, our pricing is based on the actual time spent on your assessment, ensuring that you only pay for what you need. This flexible approach allows us to tailor evaluations to your specific requirements:
If your needs are more extensive, we conduct a thorough evaluation without cutting corners.
If your needs are less complex, you’ll be charged accordingly, avoiding unnecessary costs.
Before beginning, clients are provided with an estimated testing price range depending on your needs, offering transparency and peace of mind throughout the process.

Types of Evaluations
Comprehensive
Neuropsychological or Psychoeducational Testing
for Children and Teens
A neuropsychological or psychoeducational evaluation is recommended when:
your child is experiencing difficulties with academics, learning, school, attention, and emotions or behaviors.
you are looking to have your child or teen evaluated for ADHD ASD, or learning disabilities.
you are looking to have your child or teen evaluated for emotional testing and mood concerns, including depression, anxiety, bipolar, oppositionality, and irritability.
These evaluations are critical to the future of a child. The results from an evaluation can positively impact their academic life in the short term, and also help ensure they live up to their full potential as they grow into adulthood.
Assessment in children is complex with many overlapping symptoms. Therefore comprehensive neuropsychological or psychoeducational testing is needed in order to tease apart potential factors contributing to symptoms and to make clear, definitive diagnoses for your child.
This evaluation will provide you with clear, accurate diagnoses and meaningful recommendations to clarify your child’s needs and a path forward ahead. You will gain an understanding of your child’s strengths as well as their areas for continued growth.
A neuropsychological or psychoeducational evaluation with us will provide you with the following detailed information about your child:
Intellectual Ability/IQ
Academic functioning
Memory and learning
Language
Visual-motor and visual-spatial functioning
Brief and sustained attention and concentration
Executive functioning
Socioemotional functioning
Adaptive Functioning
Information is also gathered and synthesized with data collected from parents and teachers of the child to obtain an in-depth understanding of your child’s difficulties in different contexts. Specific, individualized recommendations will be provided to address each child’s individualized needs, with a feedback session and comprehensive, written report. This report and the resulting recommendations is critical to obtaining formal accommodations in school.
Comprehensive Neuropsychological Testing for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
in Children and Teens
We provide top, gold standard evaluations for ASD in children and teens. This type of testing is extremely comprehensive in nature in order to rule in and rule out other potential, differential diagnoses. This evaluation comprehensively assesses for all diagnoses, so that you will not only learn about ASD but any co-occurring diagnoses such as ADHD.
This evaluation is the neuropsychological evaluation conducted with children and teens, but includes the additional component of evaluating for ASD.

Neuropsychological/Psychoeducational Testing for Young Adults and Adults
A comprehensive evaluation is usually conducted when this is your first experience with testing, or if you need documentation to apply for academic accommodations in public and private schools, colleges, and on standardized tests.
A neuropsychological evaluation provides detailed information about a broad range of functions including:
Intellectual Ability/IQ
Academic functioning
Memory and learning
Language
Visuo-Spatial functioning
Brief and sustained attention and concentration
Executive functioning
Emotional and behavioral functioning
These evaluations are designed to help you clarify diagnosis and treatment planning to help provide an understanding of how you and your medical providers, and academic, work and family support systems can best help you. They can also help you obtain a profile of your strengths and weaknesses to critically guide rehabilitation or educational services, understand how best to return to work or school.
Adult Emotional/Personality Testing
The Adult Emotional/Personality Evaluation is brief and focused, including domain specific evaluation for emotional or behavioral concerns.
This type of evaluation is for adults only and will help you gain a deeper understanding of your mood and specific psychiatric symptoms you may be experiencing.
This type of testing helps clarify diagnoses, and provides recommendations for future therapy/treatment planning purposes. It is often requested by health care providers so that they can obtain diagnoses and recommendations to best inform treatment.
Adult Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Testing
It can be challenging as an adult to obtain testing for autism. Many places specialize only in autism testing for children. However, we are pleased to share that we also specialize in autism testing for adults. Many of the adults we see have experienced symptoms for much of their lives which have gone unrecognized and undiagnosed. We use gold standard measures in all of our assessments.
This type of testing is extremely comprehensive in nature in order to rule in and rule out other potential, differential diagnoses.

Adult ADHD Evaluations
The Adult ADHD Evaluation is brief and focused, and includes specific, targeted assessment and recommendations. It is recommended primarily for adults who are looking for a differential diagnosis, or for working professionals who are experiencing symptoms in the workplace. Academic testing is limited or not included in the ADHD Evaluation, and the report is shorter. This evaluation is only available if deemed clinically appropriate.
This evaluation is not appropriate for children and teens seeking an evaluation for ADHD due to its brevity and lack of comprehensiveness. As evaluation in children and teens is complex with many overlapping symptoms, children and teens requiring who need an evaluation for ADHD receive comprehensive Neuropsychological or Psychoeducational Evaluations.
